Ganges!
Patna the Capital City of Bihar
Located on the bank of Holy River Ganges has created a lot of buzz on the
social media, but this time not because some activities in the Old Patliputra.
This is due to a Patna located far away from Bihar (India). This is due to the Patna
City situated in Scotland. And it’s all because of the Radio Programme which
was initially Shared and Broadcasted by BBC on its official Channel a few years
ago. This Scottish Village of Patna was established by William fultron who was originally
born in the Patna the capital City of Bihar. His Uncle who was working with the
east India Company as a surgeon. When he returned to Scotland latter he started
Coal Mining and limestone Mining’s works along the bank of Doon River and built
some houses for the shelter of the labours and name that village after the name
of Patna. Now there is a Patna Primary School, Patna Church, Patna youth group,
Patna golf club and a railway station which were used in the early years and shut
down latter in 1964.
This city which is located about
11000 kilometers away from the Holy city of Patna has its inhabitants who are
really aware of the city of Patna wish to be here at least for once. But the
residents of Patna in Bihar might not be aware of this city yet before it was broadcasted
by the BBC or shared on WhattsApp group.
